Wearing lots of foundation and cosmetics in summer is a no-no,so if you're going on intensive makeup courses make sure you've got some alternative products to use in the warmer weather.
Melissa Magsaysay, writing for the LA Times, said that there are formulas that work to protect the skin, feel weightless and still give an appropriately "done up" look.
She recommended applying a lightweight SPF, such as Kiehl's Super Fluid UV defense SPF 50.
Ms Magsaysay also suggested using Jouer Luminizing moisture tint, which is a sheer formula with a hint of bronze sparkle that helps to even out skin tone. It also has an SPF of 20.
Makeup school students should also consider the type of products they use on eyes in the summer. The expert recommended waterproof mascara and liner.
When it comes to treating sun-exposed skin, Ole Henriksen recently told abclocal.com that aloe vera is a product that everyone should have as it has natural healing properties.
