The Americana look is one that is set to be big this year so why not look into fast track makeup courses to learn how to pull it off?
MAC's director of makeup artistry Terry Barber told Stylist magazine that this pure, understated look has been seen on the spring/summer 2010 catwalks.
The likes of Proenza Schouler, Chloe and Alexander Wang all went for a bit of Americana for their shows and fast track makeup courses could be the place to learn all about how to recreate these looks.
"This girl is the varsity pin-up, think Farah Fawcett in her college yearbook - she only goes out with jocks and brushes her hair 100 times every night," Barber told the magazine.
He said that Ali MacGraw and Brooke Shields were also an inspiration to him in recreating this look.
Barber used Mac's Studio Sculpt foundation, eye shadow in Smut, Zoom Lash Mascara in Lofty Brown and lipstick in Siss to create the look.
Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury recently told Elle magazine that the natural, fresh-faced look is here to stay after it was featured in the autumn/winter 2009 shows.
