Women often have to get ready for work quickly in the morning and putting on their makeup may end up being a bit of a rush job.
Luckily, beauty and fashion writer and regular contributor to the Fashion Spot Sarah Joynt has offered some five-minute tips for those who want to learn makeup skills.
She said the first thing to do is apply a tinted moisturiser, blending it down on to the neck.
The next step is to use a small concealer brush to touch up any imperfections, before using a combined cheek and lip colour gently bring colour to the apples of the cheeks.
"Set your base with a quick swipe of translucent powder," Ms Joynt added.
She said all-in-one eye liners and eye shadows are a quick way to add a bit of colour, while eyelash curlers and a coat of mascara complete the look.
If women have a little longer to finish their makeup routine, they could follow the advice of makeup expert and president of Faces Beautiful Gail Sagel, who recently told Parade magazine bold eyebrows are a strong trend for this season.
