Vintage glamour 'is about the superblend'
Vintage glamour 'is about the superblend' Those on intensive makeup courses will know that fast-track glamour is something that is a must-have for autumn/winter 2010, and according to one beauty commentator it's not so hard to achieve.

Stylist has reported that nostalgia is the theme for next season, and this is all about creating a look of feminine finesse and understated, expensive glamour.

Charlotte Tilbury, a makeup artist for Donna Karan, Moschino and Sonia Rykiel, told intensive makeup course students that the 20s are a key feel for the current beauty trends.

"It's all about makeup that is super-blended and without lines. On eyes, sockets and brows are shaded and shaped with taupes, greys, minks, browns and khakis that are luscious but soft," she said.

Her top recommendations included Lancome's bold red French Touch Absolu Lipstick and for instant glamour, look to Estee Lauder's latest makeup collection Blue Dahlia.

With regards to hair, adopt the Mad Men style with ballerina chignons and beehives and if you need more inspiration check out Christina Hendricks in the show.
