Vintage make-up colours 'back in fashion'
Vintage make-up colours 'back in fashion' A beauty expert has described how make-up trends change with the seasons.

Beryl Barnard, director of education for The London School of Beauty and Makeup, said that burgundies and vampy reds are popular in winter, while at the moment colours that are almost vintage are the big thing.

She suggested that those on beauty courses try fuschia and coral, shades that were once only seen on the over 75s.

"But [they have] become 'in' colours, so fashion does dictate somewhat. So now we have got the soft prettier corals, more fuchsia, Barbie pinks," she said.

Ms Barnard also said that Amy Winehouse's death will also mean that winter will probably see vintage eyeliner in the style of the star.

The Back to Black singer often stepped out with her trademark winged eyeliner, which was created with a heavy amount of the product.
