Winter skin tips
Winter skin tips Aspiring makeup artists may want to take note of one expert's tips on how to keep skin in the best possible condition during winter.

Kimberley Carter of the British Association of Dermatologists explained that moisturisers and lips salves are a must-have when the weather turns colder.

"All skin types benefit from a moisturiser, particularly skin that is regularly exposed to the elements," she stated.

It was noted that adverse weather conditions can leave the face and body feeling dried out, which is particularly problematic for eczema sufferers.

In order to ensure skin is in the best possible shape before applying makeup, ladies may want to follow Ms Carter's advice and apply plenty of moisturiser.

According to the specialist, this is especially important after having a bath or shower, as even more moisture can be removed.

Dermatologist at expertbeauty.com Dr Helen Roberts recently commented that the skin is affected by health and hormonal changes, as well as the environment.
